I got a recent phone call from someone in the unfortunate situation of looking for an oncologist. As I was looking up the phone number, I thought I'd take the opportunity to share my expereince with Dr. Webb ten years ago.



I found Dr. Webb and his staff to be very professional and personable. Dr. Webb provides information in a straight forward manner, while maintaing sensitivity to your difficult situation. Even as a scared (at the time teenage) girl, I always felt like an active participant in my treatment, empowered to do the things that I could control, and able to let go of the things that I couldn't. Dr. Webb's style of communication was perfect for me. He won't give you warm and fuzzy feelings, but he absolutely not cold and jaded, as some doctors become in this difficult profession. If you choose to receive treatment from Dr. Webb, I'd recommend that you take advantage of his vast knowledge and compassionate nature...ask questions, let him know when you're confused/concerned.
