General Info

I have been a Hair Stylist since 1995; my first five years were spent solidly as a Haircolor Specialist and Color-Correction Specialist. I’m currently teaching hands-on color-correction workshops to help stylists and salon owners build and retain a better color business. I am also working on my Color-Correction Educational Book and In-Salon Color-Correction Guide while preparing to train my proteges meticulously. Tailored cuts and specialized color are what I’m known for, the two go hand in hand; color has to be tailored to blend with the cut, and the cut must emphasize or move with the color. Being in the salon is where I’m my happiest! While I adore teaching, my most precious time is spent in the salon meeting new clients, learning about their hair and making them happy. A new challenge, a new person, a delightful conversation. I look forward to seeing a client’s smile in the mirror when I’m done, nothing is more rewarding! Over the years, I have wondered how so much time has passed by when it seems like just yesterday....The answer is simple; I love what I do and my clients do too! Misty Dawn
