It practices EarthWise gardening that promotes natural growth of plants and alternative horticultural methods without using chemical pesticides. American Plant Foods specializes in outdoor trees and shrubs and has a large selection of perennials and annuals. The nursery also grows a variety of orchids and native species of plants. It offers garden supplies that include a complete line of tools, seeds, soils and mulches. American Plant Foods also supplies organic products and its garden gift department sells hats, gloves, pots, fountains, garden accouterments and home and garden accents.
