This is your warning, take it for what it is worth. I brought our vehicle in for routine maintenance and left with a trashed clutch. The day after I dropped it off I received a call about them having an issue getting my clutch into first gear. I didn’t think much of it, you have to mash the pedal all the way down and figured they weren’t used to that vehicle. My wife went to pick up the car and the clutch was completely destroyed to a point she couldn’t pull out of the shop.

She took the keys, walked back inside and said this car can’t be driven. When I got back into town I gave them a call and explained the car and clutch was working fine the day I dropped it off. They were very suspect of me like I was running a scam. I spoke with Richard directly explaining my frustration, while he seemed slightly sympathetic all he would offer me to save some money was for me to purchase my own part which he couldn’t warranty.

It is my belief whoever tried to pull the vehicle in the shop didn’t know how to properly operate a clutch and they forced the issue. It might sound crazy but again there were zero issues when the vehicle was dropped. Richard offered to fix it for 1k, but there was no way I was ever going to give them another dime. I towed it away and dropped it off at a nearby mechanic who I paid $1,145.fo repair the burned out clutch right before Christmas. Awesome.

The only reason I didn’t give a one star review is the microscopic chance the clutch went out between the time I made the drop and when they pulled it in. But again, the clutch was fine, showed no signs of slipping or wear, didn’t have the mileage on it...you get it. Bottom line, I don’t think they were malicious here, it wasn’t a conspiracy to get more money out of me. They messed up and didn’t take responsibility. Take it for what’s it worth, but you run this risk when you go here.

They did my brakes about 2 years ago and I've gone to them since. They can be a little rough around the edges but they take care of your car! And that's what matters.

I had an issue and spoke with the owner. He was very rude, and unprofessional. Also, there's a review on here word for word as on another site promoting Richards.

Did a great job on my brakes and communicated to me the whole way on when he'd be done and what they were doing. Would highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend this place. They do quality work and are honest. I have to go out of my way to get to them

but have learned when you find a good automotive place it is worth the extra effort.
