Ruby Tuesday Manager on Cedar Road in Chesapeake VA on a Power Trip, fires a SINGLE MOTHER after 5 yrs of employment over a bogus reason. As bad as this economy is it's a shame we have to deal with bullying and power trippin Managers. I've know this woman all of my life. She's one of the hardest working people I know. She is a fixture there and many locals simply wont go unless she there. To get fired after 5yrs for giving her son Tea on his way to his Prom is ridiculous when most employees would be helping themselves to whatever they want while working. She never been written up before for anything and simply asking her to pay for the Tea would have been more than enough. She was truly shocked it was an issue at all being he waited until her shift was done to even address it. This manager bully's the younger ones around and gets away with it but she's older and doesn't put up with his abuse and he had it in for her. He used his position to fire her for a ridiculous reason. I will never step foot in another Ruby Tuesday again. She's tried to contact anyone in Corporate that she can since Friday with no luck. I wouldn't even want to continue to work for such a company after this. I know better things are in store for her. I just want anyone and everyone to know about this so you don't end up trying to work for such a sorry company and being treated like she was after 5 long years of great service that her CUSTOMERS can certainly vouch for.

I went there one day with my kid. It was about 3pm and we ordered the guacamole as an appetizer. It was so salty and loaded with onions that we barely ate it. The salsa they give you with it was also sour. It was obvious someone is not checking the expiration date. When I told the waitress that the salsa was bad she just said sorry and I still had to pay for it. I got the salad bar and it was awful! I will never eat there again. Bad thing is my co workers all told me how bad that place was and I was stubborn thinking I should figure it out for myself. I did and I need to pass the word.
