University of CO Memorial Hospital Patient Financial Department employees sent mine and my husband's medical and medical financial record to our supervisor. I attempted to schedule a mammogram yesterday. The scheduler, Karen, her team lead-Cynthia, and the Patient Rep. denied me access to health care. Mammograms are for women to 'self schedule'. MHS cannot be trusted with patient or employee confidenitality. My husband had numerous non-providers looking through his 'paper' nursing floor chart. HIPPA violation? MHS terminates employees while they are on LOA, cancels their insurance, cancels their flex account, and when the employee is able to return to work with accommodations, MHS terminates them without COBRA. MHS does not deserve even one star, maybe -100 stars.
