I would never recommend this office to family/friends. Dr. Sakkaris and his wife were so unprofessional and tried to make me feel badly about my periodontal condition. Billing was a nightmare, his wife refused to rebill my insurance when they were unresponsive. Dr. Sakkaris was even speaking badly about employees and making comments about African Americans. I suggest you seek treatment elsewhere.

I went to Dr Sakkaris for an Evaluation I was having issues with my teeth

from what I can see the evaluation determined that he would charge me $868 to fix a tooth. When I got a second opinion from my previous dentist across town he told me the tooth was unsalvageable.

I know this is just an opinion and maybe he did think he could save my tooth.

But I was never told the odds or percentages. I was told that I would need to give him a $200 deposit the appointment was made I was told there would be no problem with meds till the time of my appointment which was a 2 weeks out at this point. When I called to get a script for antibiotics or pain whichever he said he didnt feel comfortable prescribing . At this point my tooth wasnt hurting but my gum above the tooth was still extremely swollen as it was when I went for the evaluation. When I went for the second opinion my dentist told me that this tooth could not be saved. I trust him and

decided to cancel my appointment with Dr Sakkiris giving them in excess of 24 hous notice. They told me they were keeping $100 of the $200 deposit because I did not

cancel with 48 hrs notice. I was not told I needed to give 48 hours at the time I made the appointment notice nor was this rule anywhere on the paperwork I received . The norm to cancel a dentist visit is 24 hours,not 48 so I guess he just makes up his own rules. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and I did get my money back. But I am really upset avbout the whole experience . My suggestion to those who are seeking a good dentist is to call 1-800-Dentist you will find like I did Dr Sakkaris was not listed with them.

Dr. Sakkaris is wonderful. He is very calm, good with needles, and does wonderful work. I would recommed him to friends!!
