After picking up my rental at the airport, discovered the back seat area was not cleaned...old food and trash still in plain sight. Other than that, the car was fine

Nice and friendly staff. Will try to locate a specific vehicle for you if what you are looking for is not in the pickup area. Clean vehicles and no problems from bus pickup thru return and transportation back to the airport.

I've rented at many places in the past and admittedly it's been a while since I've had to rent cars while on business, but going with National and the Emerald program this time around (June 2015) was the best way to go. Upon landing at the airport, you get an email confirming your reservation with instructions (basically "pick a car in the aisle and show your ID on the way out"). Return was just as smooth; vehicle met all my expectations, but service was exceptional! No need to look elsewhere for the next rental!

First time at the facility. The shuttle bus was easy to catch and the driver was very helpful with directions as time for transport to/from airport. Employees were very helpful at the vehicle selection/pick up area. Will definitely use National again on repeat business trips.

The pick up process was very easy as the bus met us and took us to the rental facility in less than 5 min. There were numerous vehicles to choose from and with the weather not expected to be very good it was nice to see a Grand Jeep Cherokee 4x4 there. Everyone was pleasant coming and returning the vehicle and would not hesitate to rent there again.

I recently had a flight cancelled from DTW to GRR and quickly contacted National for a one way car rental to get home after a difficult day of flight travel. The staff at the DTW was very helpful and friendly as well. I was in and out in just a couple minutes and on my way home! Thanks again for making a bad weather day much better and I actually arrived home before the short flight would have!
