A friend of mine got her car repainted at another place in Durham and it cost her over $3K. The paint was oxidizing on my roof pretty bad and the hood was getting in on the action too. I also needed a little body work from a minor fender bender. I sure didn't have $3K to work with so decided to see what it would cost at Maaco to paint the whole car since I'm keeping it for the duration and the body work too. I settled on the mid range paint job and with the body work and labor came to a workable price for the job (about a third of what my friend paid elsewhere just for her paint job).

The finished product looks amazing! The car looks brand new, body work & paint job! I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Ten months later and it still looks terrific!!

Just goes to show, you can't judge a book by it's cover or the location, or even the brand name, which I know many poo-poo.

I took advantage of their Winter 1/2 off sale and had a 2005 Toyota Camry painted. I inherited it from my mother who never got it waxed. My front bumper cover, right fender and rear bumper cover were damaged from two minor accidents. I picked up the parts on carparts.com (including 4 hub caps) for $240. Incredibly cheap place to buy body parts. To make a long story short, the service guys were very helpful and didn't try to manipulate me into buying a premium paint job for a car that is 10 years old. They installed all of the new parts and painted it without fault. It looks amazing and I can't find any issues anywhere. They recommended carnauba wax after 90 days. All in all, it cost me around $1000 (including the parts I bought). The price would have been exponentially higher at a regular body shop who'd probably charge $1000 just to fix the right fender. Two thumbs up!

Excellent customer service, fantastic paint job & my car was ready as promised. I checked several places in the area to get my 2004 Honda Accord painted & chose Maaco on Christian Avenue. From the 1st time I went to get a quote to the day I picked my car up it was a great experience. Highly recommend taking your car here if you need a paint job or work done!

We couldn't be happier with the paint job Maaco did with our rear bumper. Actually looks better than when we bought our 2007 Camry new. Thomas Livesay kept us well informed at every stage in the process; there were no surprises. They didn't rush, which was good. We were glad for them to keep the car a day longer than originally expected, because of the need to order a replacement bumper. And the price was a good bit less than estimates we had gotten at three other shops in Durham. Congratulations, Maaco!

Taking my 15 year old vehicle to Maaco was very fulfilling in that they did a wonderful job.No over spraying nice even passes and a very classy pin stripe added.I trusted Maaco because they are professional customer first type of company.

I forget the name of the salesperson in the front office but he was very nice and explained everything to me (as I am not the most educated when it comes to fixing a car). The car looked very nice and I loved the price. Now I do nott mind people seeing my car. it may be older but it is nice and shiny. Thankyou very much

My grandmother wanted to get her car painted and my aunt was going to pay 1200 as Brian told her the total would be for what she needed done. Come the day my grandmother needed to pick up her car Brian decided to charge her an extra 300 for what he claimed to be to “fix the dents”. Not only are the dents still there, the paint job was horrible, and the car was dirty when she was picking it up. My grandma was taken advantage of and this is not okay it’s disgusting and disappointing. Do yourself a favor and pick any other place but this one for repairs or anything auto related.

I live in California and my mom wanted her car painted, i spoke to Brian on the phone and the agreed to do the job for $1200, and i asked a few times $1200 right, no more than that. He already charged my credit card but he never told me about the other $300 he is charging my mom now. He is saying is for fixing Dents in the car, DENTS are still in the car. Car looks horrible now with new painting on top of DENTS. i will pay whatever my mom wants and needs. But Brian never told me about the extra charge and or never fixed dents.
Shame on you Brian, taking advantage of old people.
