Unless you never want to see your items again, I do not recommend using Peerless Cleaners as your dry cleaner. I dropped a queen size comforter off on Friday, September 11th to Faithe (sales associate) to be dry cleaned. I was told it would be ready the following Friday for pick up. I went the following (9/18) for pick up and Faithe informed me it wasn't back yet, and they told me to come back Monday (9/21). Once again, it still wasn't back per Faithe again. I asked them to call me when it came back and was ready to be picked up so I didn't keep wasting my time driving there. I hadn't heard anything from Peerless Cleaners by Wednesday, September 23rd so I called them myself and was informed my comforter had been lost. How do you lose a queen size comforter?!?! It's not a shirt where it could get balled up and stuffed under a desk somewhere. I truly believe they knew it was lost on that original Friday (9/18) I went to pick it up, but wanted to keep pushing it under the rug. I have now been without a comforter for almost 3 weeks. Keep in mind, the cold season is coming and I currently do not have a comforter on my bed. I was informed at the time they told me it was lost to find my original receipt because they will reimburse what I paid. Great! So I found the original amount that was paid and turned it in. Received a call from the Store Manager, Stephanie, today (9/29) and they can only give me $150 ($100 less than what I paid) for the comforter. It's ridiculous that Peerless Cleaners LOST my comforter and I'm the one to suffer a $100 loss. On top of it all this comforter was a wedding gift and it is no longer able to be purchased. After talking with Peerless Cleaners they seem to be Pro's in filing claims for missing items. So it must happen pretty frequently. They need to find another way to do business. Just be aware if you take something there to be dry cleaned you may never see it again.

poor performance and poor staff. I pointed out a mussed collar on a laundered shirt and got the glib explanation of "they are all like that". I also sent a shirt to be laundered and "they" decided to dry clean it (at a hiked price) and acted offended that when I had said I wanted it laundered and pressed that's what I wanted. Will not use again.
