Founded in 1982, the Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center is a 160-plus-bed facility that provides health care services. It offers maternity care, pregnancy testing and diagnostic services. The hospital operates a telemetry unit and 24-hour emergency department, as well as medical and surgical units. The Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center also provides case management, social, physician referral and respiratory services. It is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Located in Garden Grove, Calif., the Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center is a subsidiary of Prime Healthcare Services, which owns and operates more than 10 hospitals in Southern California.
