I was one of a party of 11 and each of us very much enjoyed our meals. I had chicken fried chicken, real mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll. I don't usually eat fried food so I was worried about how greasy it might be but was wonderfully surprised. It was delicious!!! Large portions, great service and very reasonably priced. I definitely will go back.

I went there because I had a bogo coupon, had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, cream gravy...it was really good & large portions, have had 3 meals out of my one plate...it is in an old town district, nice to walk up & down the street afterwards to walk of your meal...will definately come back.

I recently tried The Main Street Cafe for the first time. Nice atmosphere with table linens, beautiful glassware and historic feel. Service was friendly & prompt. However, I was very disappointed in a couple of things; the soup was great, but way too expensive, for the very small amount you're served for $3.50 a cup (exactly 1 cup). The other meals in my party were, I was told, very good, but very over priced for the quantity we had to pay. My suggestion to the owners would be if you charge those kinds of prices, include more, rolls or dinner salad and definately more soup!
