Minimal waiting, professional and courteous Doctor and staff, accurate diagnosis and treatment resulting in outstanding results
Dr. Dubin and Staff provide me with excellent health care, thorough examinations, and support. Dr. Dubin takes the time to listen and explains the diagnosis, answers my questions so I understand, and the options available to treat symptoms.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Dubin for many years and he is always a pleasure to see. He is very knowledgeable and is up to date on the latest medications. His staff is wonderful too, Rose and the other woman (did not quite catch her name) at the front desk were great and assisted with checking in patients quickly.

I've been seeing Dr. Dubin for 2 years now. He instantly diagnosedy my dermatitis and prescribed the perfect topical creams to help.. We've also been working on different treatment methods for my acne. It is a long battle but it takes patience and time. Hes a great Dr. along with his assistant Susie who is amazingly helpful as well.
All problems that I presented were addressed thoroughly and completely. Dr dubin is an excellent dermatologist with an excellent staff.

- General Info
- Dr. Dubin was born and raised in the Chicago area. After graduating from Northwestern University, he obtained his M.D. degree from The University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a one-year internship in internal medicine at Lutheran General Hospital, followed by a residency in dermatology at Cook County Hospital, where he was named chief resident in his final year. He was certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1989. Dr. Dubin is indebted to several people who have shaped his career path, and have helped him achieve all that he has to this point. His father-in-law, the late dermatologist Dr. Roland S. Medansky, introduced him to the marvelous field of dermatology. His long-time partner, Dr. Samuel Solomon taught him a great deal about how to care about as well as for patients. Dr. Dubin’s many teachers and colleagues instilled within him a lifelong passion for learning and transmitting his knowledge to others. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Dubin joined North Suburban Dermatology Associates, a thriving dermatology practice located in Gurnee, IL, where he is currently sole owner. He is an active member of the Chicago Dermatological Society, and he was honored to serve as it’s President in 2009. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the Great Lakes Dermatological Society ( President, 1999 ). In addition to attending many local and national meetings and speaker programs, Dr. Dubin has spoken on dermatological topics to community groups as well as to physicians in other fields of medicine. He has also volunteered his time to perform skin cancer screenings to the public. Dr Dubin is married, with four children–an occupational therapist, a social worker, a physician assistant and an undergraduate business major. He is a wine enthusiast who also enjoys cooking, playing tennis and traveling.
