Finally! Just when you thought that there were no great, locally owned, personally run Italian bistros in Lancaster, along comes Ciro's. Located in the planned residential community known as Richmond Square, Ciro's has more heart and more style than any other restaurant in the area. I've been there on 2 different occasions & have been ignored at the door. We've waited & waited to be acknowledged & nothing. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I've been to Ciros' twice. The first time was amazing, I will admit. So much so that we went back the next wkend. The service the 2nd time was absolutly horrible. The waiter misunderstood what we wanted - brought out the dish, not what we ordered. I told him right away this is NOT what I ordered, instead of apologizing and getting me the corrected dish, he argued with me that this is what he thought i meant - and walked away. I did not eat it. he walked past a few times, glanced at my plate - finally coming and said he would box it up. ???? Hello?!?! Then says, next time, please make sure I understand what you are looking for - I said there will not be a next time. His exact words to me were " Oh, dont let one bad experience sway you" .. and charged me the full price of the dish I did not eat because of his misunderstanding. I've called twice for a Mgr being told they will call me back. I'm still waiting. I will pass this on to many.

Love this restaurant! The food is great and priced very reasonable. The gelato is homemade and delicious. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff...One of my favorites in Lancaster!
We had a large group of about 35 people and had the best service and food we could imagine. Tony(the owner) was very accommodating. Waiters were very friendly and experienced. And the food was wonderful! Portions are unbelievably large, most people had to take some of their food home. We will definitely be back and so will everyone in our group. Great service, great food and great atmosphere!! Highly recoommended.

A great night out! I brought my family to ciro's and really did not know what to expect. Several of my co workers have dined here and I never heard anything negative. I have to agree with them. We have a wonderful time. This place has something for everyone without being a chain. The food is authentic, service is fantastic and you truly feel like your eating at a family members dining room. No need to go anywhere else, this is my family's favorite place!

Finally a true Italian restaurant in Lancaster. Great atmosphere wonderful service and really tasty dishes. I tried the fruita di mare and could not believe the portions.The only complaint is that its hard to get a reservation, this place is always packed and its no surprise. I LOVE Ciro;s

Ewwww, there gelato is made from a bag. They tried to pass it off as real gelato. One bite and you can tell. Italian food was nasty. Would never recommend this place to anyone. I really don't understand how this place is still open.

We visited Ciro's on Valentine's Day and were extremely disappointed with the food. The calamari was average and the pizza was incredibly bland. Overall, the service was average, but it took us a while to get our food. The gelato was great and was the best part of the meal by far. We will never come back for the food, but we will come back for the gelato.

I visit ciro's at least 2x a week. I appreciate that I can order great food in such a nice looking restaurant and will not break the bank. The lasagna is probably the best I have ever had outside Italy. This place offers so much.

This is the BEST Italian restaurant in lancaster. The atmosphere is light years beyond any other around. Great food presentation, friendly staff, authentic, family owned, lot's of character and I especially love the fact that mom makes the deserts. This is the ONLY Italian restaurant I will eat at!!!

The pizza was fantastic and the gelato was so authentic and delicious I thought I was back in Florence. True, the service is a little slow but hopefully that will improve with time.

BEST Italian restaurant in Lancaster. The food was authentic service impeccable. The pizza is like nothing you have eaten before, I cannot wait to go back and bring my friends. Make sure you try the cannolis!!!

i understand it is new but to be seated and wait almost 45min for our food was ridiculous!!!! I think they really need to work on getting the food out in a timely manner! The waitress was very nice and I'm sure if the kitchen would step it up and get a little organized it would have made her night run smoother! I guess if you have nothing to do for a few hours it's a good place to waste some time.

Great staff,great atmosphere (tastless food), no children's menu, .It's new so maybe in time it will get better. We paid full price for everything even thought we let the waitress know how tastless each dish was.Also very small portion sizes.A manager should have come over and checked on us but did not.

I had the privilege of eating at Ciro's Italian Bistro over the weekend. The food is FABULOUS and the gelato is to die for. It is so great to see how busy they are already, just by word of mouth. Right now, with being so new, service is a little slow, but well worth the wait! I can't wait to go back! Best of luck to Ciro's!!
