The worst company we have ever had. MILITARY families stay away..... we have moved a few times with no problems but this one was the rotten apple. there was no supervision of packers or anyone responsible for the job. it took 3 crews to come get our goods packed and loaded. finally when we recieved our items then the more problems arose. broken and jam packed items. good luck wetting your claim in a timely efficient manner also. take photos af all items in your home with time and date on them. also check items upon delivery while crew is still there to list broken items and have crew sign damage sheet. very helpful. jppso is not any help either, so photograph, note and watch all items family.

Heard so many horror stories about moving companies and decided to go with Steven's in Las Cruces because they seemed honest and caring. I was not disappointed...this was by far the best moving experience, they were on time loading and were in N.C a day early...no damage and everything went perfect. The driver/helper was professional and took time...no rushing to get it off the truck. Eddie was the best as far as reassuring me that everything would be fine and that they do what they say they are going to do..no exceptions. This is the best company..and I've looked at alot and I know people that had nightmare experiences with movers...this was how it should go when you move.

We hired Las Cruces Moving and Storage in February 07 for a move in May 07. Things were fine until May. The movers came and picked everything up in a very timely manner. However when we moved and were waiting for our things thats when the real nightmare began. We tried to contact our moving agent , never returned our calls and never kept in touch as he said he would. Our delivery date was between May 21 to June 1, 2007. On May 30th we recieved a call from the driver letting us know our stuff would be in on the 31st no later then 10am. Come May 31st we get a call at 9:45am saying that the "truck broke down", the driver then rescheduled for the 1st by 9am. Come June 1st at 10:50am we get a call saying the driver finally made it into town and would be arriving shortly. When they did show up it turns out that our stuff was in the forward part of the semi and could not be reached. BAD BAD planning on or agent and North American. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!
