First, let me just say how hard it is to find the right stylist and salon. It's literally like finding the right doctor. Once you do find it, as a customer you expect exceptional service all the time. Customer service should be consistent. Not based on whether or not you like the customer. We pay for a very expensive service and should be satisfied. I've been going to static salon for a few years now. They are very pricey I usually would have to save around $300 just got cut and color. When you call for an appointment they will ask you what service you would like. Then they schedule you with someone who is new because that stylist needs to build a client base. (If you don't ask for someone specific) then of course the "new" stylist does not sit you down and consult and go over all your options or tell you whether or not the style is possible. I brought in a loved one and that person was so excited to get their hair done. She showed the stylist a picture of what they wanted and the stylist didn't tell them yes she can do it or no she can't. Instead she sat them down and all she said was "ok". I trusted in the stylist. 6 hours later I come back and #1 it didn't look anything like the picture. #2 it cost me about $280 plus additional tip. The look on my loved one face was so disappointing. I was so disappointed. The stylist did not explain to us that the look was a process. Which means we have to go in several more times to achieve the look. She didn't go over the price from the beginning. And I had to ask the stylist how many more times we have to come in to get our look. Sadly, we will not ever go back there. I would not recommend this salon to any family or friends.

very rude manager

i went in for the first time and was going to write a check. was told i couldn't and paid them most of the bill and told them i would come back to pay. i got a call from the owner telling me i had to come in right then and pay. i live in yorba linda and they are in long beach so i was not going to go right in. i told her that i would be in monday to pay since i worked in that area. she then went off on me and told me my money was not accepted there. she was the owner and had no customer service skills. the salon is extremely pricey as well. would not recommend

Static Salon

I've been going to Static Salon since it opened (was referred by the previous Aveda salon across the street that had closed) and have really enjoyed my experience at the salon. When I needed to my stylist, I discussed my options with the owner RaChelle and she recommended Vanessa, who has been fabulous. Everyone is very friendly, the products are exceptional, and it's a very pleasant and relaxing environment.

Love it

I have been going to static salon as long as they have been open, 2 years....in fact my first experience was at the first cancer cut-a-thon they had, as this cause is very near to my heart!! I have always had pleasant and professional experiences here and will continue to patron this establishment. I always feel pampered when I'm there, from the complimentary beverages and treats, the fantastic scalp massage and hand massages, heavenly facial treatments, even my brow waxing is super relaxing!! I think it is great that we have a salon in this community that not only gives me so much love, but also gives back to the community and speacial charitys!! daphne

no long time customer loyalty

I started going to this salon because of a certain hairstylist. I was referred to her when she was working in a different salon. When she moved to Static Salon, I followed her because I loved the way she did my hair. Till this day, I have always been incredibly satisfied with all my hairstyles. However, I recently made an appt 4 months in advance for a wedding I was going to be in. Only a few weeks prior to the wedding date, the salon calls me to cancel my appt for an event they had booked for the same day. Fortunately, one of the "owners" informed me that they would honor my appt since I had booked it way in advance. I really appreciated their loyalty to their customers & it made me like the salon even better. To my surprise, this all changed. About 2-3 weeks prior to the wedding, the salon started to call me each week, and each week a different person stating that they needed to cancel my appt. Each time I called I had to explain the situation & in the end they kept my appt. Now, just 1 week before the wedding, they call me again to cancel my appt. This time, despite my explanation they state that they cannot keep my appt. After several conversations with different staff members, I had enough & said "JUST GO AHEAD & CANCEL MY APPT." After all this, I do not even want to go to this salon EVER again. If they would have just explained from the beginning (months ago) that they absolutely could not keep my appt then at least it would have given me ample time to find a different salon to do my hair for the wedding. Now, they have left me only 1 week to find another salon. This just goes to show how important customer service is!!! Maybe if their staff was consistent in their operations this situation wouldn't have occurred.

I am the owner of Static Salon. First and For most Customer Service is key to our salon,however we are having a Cancer Cut-a-thon Fundraiser that day, which is especially important to us since one 1 in 4 is affected by this horrible disease. We tried many times to reschedule a different time slot so we could accomodate her on her special day,even offering to come in 1 hour before we opened so not to make her wait since her original appointment was scheduled in the middle of our Cancer Cut-A Thon. That to me would be worse if she was late to her wedding because she had to wait while we accomodated the people from the eventthat may have come in before her. Please accept our apology for having to reschedule and the 8 AM opening is still available.
