Great food, Shawn did a great job serving our large group (12). Did'nt miss a beat, orders came out fast & correct. This is a do over.

I love this place! It's casual and comfortable and the food is delicious and the people are nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. I love to walk to The Cafe on Saturday mornings for breakfast. They offer a really good selection of menu items for both breakfast and lunch and it's all reasonably priced. And the cakes and desserts are beautiful and delicious. I LOVE THE CAFE!!! I think you will too!

What a nice surprise! My family from Denver came in for Thanksgiving. We planned to take them for brunch before they flew out on Saturday. Their 11 yr. old chose her friend's suggestion as it was "cute". We inadvertently passed it up and found a "jewel". Menu, service, value and food that is mmm, better than good!! And the atmosphere is a real treat. Even for 11 yr. old girls. The Cafe is the answer to "where can we have brunch?" All ages, all appetites, all "picky" eaters. No problem, if hours 8 am thru 4pm suits. Perhaps a "Bloody Mary" or even "Virgin Mary" would be my only suggestion. I plan to return again and again.

This is a breakfast/lunch eatery artfully run by Sal Rubino and his wife. The location is unique, set adjacent to the viaduct on east Broadway with Beargrass Creek a stones throw away. If you time your visit to the patio just right you can wave to the engineer of the freight train as it passes on the trestle overhead. The menu is creative, simple and moderately priced and the food is always fresh and well presented. The servers are friendly and efficient even during the busiest times. Don't expect luxury but be prepared for quirky. The concrete block building is beyond unassuming but is adorned with hanging chandeliers and Victorian mantelpiece! Go to have fun and a great meal whether you prefer dining inside or out.
