This is NOT a California State licensed facility, therefore "caveat emptor!" He knows a lot about repairing foreign cars and has a big heart for the elderly and friends, but he does things on his terms, on his timing. Therefore unless your just getting parts from him, you are on your own!

guys are great, until you question the work, time it's taking etc. I was so excited to find a place that would work on my VW. John drives an old VW bus and is really a nice guy. It should have been a red flag that only cash accepted. I left my car with a wish list, knowing I needed a whole new AC unit and found everything they touched had to be repaired at least 2-3 times and they broke my convertible top... which was working when left.. Boy that's when the attitude changed. I had paId 1900 in cash with promise of invoice next day. The broke convertible top...IT was working when I left the car. John said they'll take care of it. 6 months later I have a 1,000 dollar repair bill to fix top.I'm not sure what I paid for.. was told not even a new AC unit. His brother couldn't tell me even why the top broke said John would call.. hey John, been since Dec. 2015. Should stop drinking at work and obey CA laws.

Just bad service, bad workmanship and overpriced parts he claims to order. I went to pick up my car after a job that normally takes 2 hours at the most had taken 7 hours only to be informed that the mechanic Jay had gone to the liquor store to buy "another" beer. I left my phone number AGAIN and asked that they call when the car was done. I got a call finally from my drunken mechanic Jay to tell me my 2005 BMW 325i wouldn't be ready until the following day. All that needed to be done was my water reservoir tank had a crack and needed to be replaced. The following day, no phone call until I called around noon and was told they were waiting on a part to come from Modesto and it would be ready by 3pm. When I asked why no one called me about an additional a part I was told that I would have to ask John but of course John was not there at the moment. So I waited until 4pm and went to the shop to find John staring at my engine. I kept it lite and asked so how much damage is this going to cost?

He kept telling me he had to buy a BMW OEM part for the tank at $110 (he originally quoted $52.00), and the sensors he had to buy separately because in his words "you can only buy the sensors from BMW."

John originally quoted me $52.00 for the tank and no more than $150 for labor. When I asked him why no one called me about the extra parts and costs he tried to say he didn't have my number. That's when I told him I had given him my business card at least twice, he's written my number down a couple of times and his brother called me last night.

He then said well I told my brother last night to tell you about the extra charges and that if his brother didn't tell me then it was his brother Jay's fault. I left his shop and told him to please call me when it was done.

By 6 pm after no call again I go to the shop and John informs me that because he didn't like my attitude, he took out the newly installed parts and put my old part back in. I was and still am stunned. He yells at his brother and started to yell at me because no one informed me of the extra charges and then he abandons the job. I think it was because they just could not install the tank correctly which I will be doing on my own. Bad place to get your car fixed stay far away. You'll spend way more in money and time than just taking it to a good foreign auto mechanic. One with actual hydraulic lifts and certified techs. These guys are on the job drinkers who cause more problems.

Scratches My BMW and didn't want to cover or own up to it.!!

Worst shop in town, don't take any BMW, VW, or Mercedes to them, they ding and scratch your car with all their clutter and blame it on their public parking lot, take no responsibility for the damage on the car that was left in there's responsibility over night, and suggestion that YOUR insurance is for these types of situations.! Bad Business, Munden is a much better shop and knows how to handle situations like these, more knowledgable as well.!! John still charged me for changing my "regulator"

Great late model BMW repairs

John, Kevin and Jacob do excellent, quick and affordable repair work on any foreign autos. Great customer service and excellent prices, not to mention a large selection of hard to find parts. Every repair I've had done here was done within a day and for a very reasonable price.
