Provided by YP.comI took my child there because he was breathing funny and it was a little scary, it was a terrible experience. The receptionist was rude and condescending and I got charged a ton for a shot that ended up not working. Even though I had insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) there were multiple issues with coverage, after the fact they claimed I wasn't covered and they told me they contacted my insurance company, but when I contacted BBS of Arizona they claimed they were never contacted. Of course they didn't tell me when I was there, I may have coverage issues, instead they tried to hit me up with a bill before I even left and I wondered why. Needless to say after a week of my child still being sick and his issues getting much worse I took him to PCH (Phoenix Childrens Hospital) and it was a much better experience after they monitored him for a night and gave him real attention. I am still scared now thanks to Cardons to take my children to the ER or even an urgent care, for fear I may have a similar experience. What an awful place. I wish I could rate it no stars, they seemed more interested in getting their money then treating my child or the health of my child. Defeats the whole purpose and I feel sorry for people who don't want to do line itemizations and fight for a 15 minute visit that did nothing. They are most likely paying 1000s to these crooks. PCH (Phoenix Childrens Mesa ER) had no issues with my insruance and were in fact (going over line itemizations because I am now good at it) cheaper over all and even if they were more expensive or I had insurance issues, my child still got better care and that's a job well done.
