I would recommed this place to anyone!!! Had My car at Fl------rs and was almost in tears when they told Me " they couldnt let Me drive out of there because My brakes were so bad" I drove in just fine. After what I felt like being taken advantage of, I reviewed Mesa AZ auto repair shops, and Tunex had the BEST rating for anyone in town. After inspecting My car, they said a plastic bag had gotten caught on My exhaust and was causing a burning smell, not My brakes!!! Their technician scraped most of it off and guess what My repair bill was, 0-zip-nada!!!! I couldnt believe there are still great great great honest repair shops out there, this is the best one, I got My oil changed there, didnt try to "sell" Me anything, told Me about My radiator hoses being over 10 years old, and I even gave some cute guy behind the counter a hug, because He was so gracious, and wouldnt accept any payment for the melted grocery bag they removed. They deserve 10 stars, and I am recommending all My friends to there, Thanks Tunex!!!!! You guys rock, and are cute too!!!
Tunex Mesa is the best place I have taken my vehicle ever! I ended up there one day when AAMCO failed to do a succesfull tune up on my van for the 3rd time. The last time they lied to me to try to get me to pay another $400 just to make $ and make it seem like I wasn't there for the 4th time in a row for same problem. Paul was so helpfull that day, and has been ever since. The service is second to none. Professional and done right the first time, which counts when you use your vehicle for work. I also love to see the same people working at my shop. Paul has been there every time, same mechanics, same owner, they must be doing something right. Customer for life!
I have had my car serviced at this location and have had excellent customer service every time. They take very good care of your car and are very knowledgable. They don't nickel and dime you like some places. I would highly recommend this Tunex. Linda

I have been going to Tunex in Mesa for my car repairs for over 10 years. However; I was suckered into one of those low price oil change shops with a coupon. To make a long story short when I walked out of there I paid well over $20 for my so called $14.95 oil change. I felt worked over and was told I needed over $1800 of work done to my car. I immediately called Paul at Tunex and told him what had happened and begged for his forgiveness. He told me "don't worry everyone falls for that trick sometime." Paul asked me to come down and we would look at my car and their recommendations together. I turns out I didn't need the $600 brake job they said I needed. Not even close! And I didn't need a tune-up either... I had that done 8 months ago at Tunex. Bottom line I will never go anywhere else again! Thank you Paul... I owe you lunch.
