ER was dirty and disgusting, they have a staff of premed that cannot insert a IV and he tried twice, now I am bruised so bad it's solid black.

i came in primarily to get seen about a disk problem i have which is preventing me from sitting up correctly and standing has become very hard to do . i also explained the severe radiating pain down my arms and legs. i also had an absees in my groin area that needed to be lanced and drained. well, i was admitted into the emergency room where i once again gave all theses details and my medicine allergies and meds i was taking. i also told them i had sleep apnea. i brought my mri disks and paperwork showing 16 plus disks which have herniation ranging from .5 mm to 6.5 mm. they did lance my absess. then tried to give me vicodin, which i am allergic to . then after telling four different people my medication list, which never got upstairs to my room after surgery, rough night to say the least. luckily my wife brought my cpap or god knows how worse my night would have been. in the morning the doc came to see me and i asked him what they were going to do about disk pain, problem sitting and standing, he told me i had to get this done as an out patient. so now im sitting in my room waiting to be discharged to go to another hospital to get treated for something i came here for. OUtrageous! anyways..... i can say one thing good about this hospital.... the nurses that did treat me after my surgery, were very good at adressing my pain issues when they were actually given permission to give me the proper meds for pain. i thought you had the right to be seen, treated, for an emergency ailment when you goto the emergency room. ive stated this to several doctors while here with no logical response.

My wife recieved top notch care from the nursing staff at this hospital. The food was OK too.
