Located in Nashville, Tenn., Dialysis Clinic is a nonprofit organization serving the medical and health-related needs of the community. Established in 1971, it has no members and is organized solely for the welfare of society. It performs a variety of laboratory tests for transplant patients. It also supports research in various phases of end-stage renal disease treatment, including dialysis, organ procurement and transplantation, and promotes professional and public education. The organization is affiliated with various universities and teaching hospitals throughout the United States that include the University of Connecticut, Tulane University, University of Pittsburgh, University of New Mexico, Creighton University, Tufts University, University of Cincinnati and the University of Arizona. It uses DARWIN Applications for management of quality management data.
