5 Stars for AC Auto body & repair service! I live in NY and mt son broke down on the Merritt Parkway. Alex,Anthony and Jessica made this a hassle free experience! They towed my car to their shop and gave me a fair estimate. My car was repaired in a day! They were also kind enough to take my payment over the phone and held my car until I could get to Conn to pick it up! Bravo to amazing people with outstanding customer service!! In this day and age you don't people willing to go out of their way to help you. Living so far away they couldn't have made this any easier. Thanks so much !! Very unsatisfied with their work. Was brought there by my insurance company they were to to a new bumper On my car which they had to blend into my other paint color. They had my car for a week and when I got it back it was the worst paint job I'd ever seen. Didn't even match my color you could see the blend mark there was bubbling in the paint and they didn't even put my decal back on. Went back to complain, he claimed it looked fine. Finally after arguing he said he would have it redone. Took another week to get my car back and it was just as bad as the first time they just piled more paint on top. The owner was rude and I wouldn't even give this place 1 star.

I recently had a good experience with AC Auto Body. My car was hit on the Merritt Parkway, and the state trooper who responded to the accident called a wrecker from AC. I was leery about having work done by an unfamiliar shop (I live outside CT), but checked their rating with the Better Business Bureau and decided to go ahead. Everyone I dealt with at AC was courteous, professional and helpful, including the wrecker driver, who went out of his way to drop me off at a late-night McDonalds to wait for my ride out of the rain, and the owner, who took all my calls while I decided whether to have the car repaired after the insurance adjuster declared it totaled (the cost to repair exceeded the salvage value of my 11-year old car). The repairs took a while due to a backordered part, but the cost was reasonable and the end result was worth it. The car handles beautifully, and you can't tell from looking at it that it was in an accident -- some of my neighbors thought it was a new car.
