Nice to find a local jeweler not trying to send the kids to college on every sale. Easy to work with, nice variety of goods and prices and pleasant sales people.

Took a vintage art deco ring in to be CLEANED only. They rodium plated the ring without asking me if I wanted that done. Ruined the patina on the ring, lowering the value of the ring. I was told they routinely plate white gold when a cleaning is requested. I wish I had been told that at time of drop off.

I needed an APRAZLA on a1.50 carat diamond ring. I called and went to 6 places and every place told me it would start at $75.00 and up to $150.00. I walked to Smith Jewelers on a Saturday and on Wedesday they told me i could come get my ring and it only cost $35.00 and they did a really great job. The ladies were very nice and even though they were really busy. They still greeted me when i walked in and they had someone come over and tell me it would just be a couple min. before someone could help me!! i will go back there to buy pearl ears.....
