Barely a stone's throw from Joppa Rd & Perring Pkwy, McLean Nursery is a true gem. It sits in a park-like setting with a small wooden sign at the entrance. Watch carefully, or you will miss it on the left. The sales person(s) are friendly and informative- taking the time to thoroughly answer any and all questions you may have about plants. If you ever wondered how a particular perennial would look in your yard, or what one even looked like, this is the place to go! Just about every type of perennial indigenous to Md. is planted here, so you can take a leisurely stroll through the grounds and look at the trees and bushes in a natural setting. These plants are loved, cared for, very healthy, and sold at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended- just don't be in a hurry when you get there or you'll be selling yourself short! Even if you just want to look, it's worth the trip.

General Info
On a recent chilly and rainy afternoon I visited McLean Nursery in Parkville, Maryland, to get my annual inspiration for decking the halls with boughs of holly. Six cheerful people (and a dog!)stuffed into a cozy shed full of holiday trimmings was a nice respite from the constant deluge of rain.
