Never ever been disappointed excellent food super wait staff
Planning my up coming 80 birthday celebration there!!#highly recommended

After getting out wedding pictures taken, we wanted to go out and have a small celebration. We looked great and felt better. I chose Mignon bases on location and perception of quality.

We went without a reservation and were seated by the manager who was pleasant. The restaurant decor is beautiful -very much like a modern Parisian bistro.

The waitress brought our menus and left us to look it over. The entrées varied from $22-$48.

When she came back to describe the specials, we knew the price would be more than we wanted to spend that particular evening. When my husband asked how much one of them was, she looked him up and down with an expression on her face of complete disgust. At this point, we should have left.

The food was good but I can have great food and excellent wine without leaving my own house.

As we finished up our meals, she came back and asked about desert. We both declined and the server left. I wanted to stay and have coffee and an after dinner drink but the check came immediately without any discussion of what else she might bring us.

We paid and walked to the door. A very young girl was there and held it open. My husband left and said 'good bye' and 'thank you'-no response. I left and said 'thank you' and 'good bye'-no response. I turned back and said quite pointedly 'THANK YOU'. The response was "oh, ya, thanks". All that was missing was the "whatever".

We will never waste money going here again.

This is one of DFW's best kept secrets. EVERYTHING about this quaint stylishsteakhouse is perfect. Their steaks are true Prine grade and their seafood is fresh. I strongly reccommend this establishment.

Mignon has the best atmosphere for a restaurant in Plano, and their food is great too!

Not my cup of tea.
