Rhode Island Hospital provides Psychiatric Emergency Services, including emergency psychiatric evaluation and crisis management for adults suffering from anxiety, depression, manic depression, eating disorders, panic disorders, schizophrenia, substance abuse, thoughts of suicide, or other psychiatric illnesses. Located adjacent to the emergency department, our services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
