Provided by YP.comLosing my dog was one of the hardest things I have ever experienced. We had to have him euthanized nearly 2 weeks after he was diagnosed with a very aggressive lymphoma. After we said goodbye we brought our little guy to A Beloved Friends on the recommendation of a girlfriend of mine. I cannot say enough about Steve, Elaine and the staff there. Not only did they stay open past their closing time to wait for us, they were so warm and compassionate. They treated our dog with remarkable gentleness and wrapped him in the sweetest little blanket. I had this fear that they would just stick him in a freezer in some plastic bag. I was assured that they would cremate him that very evening (and it was late!) so I could come pick him up in the morning. After they weighed him and put him in a blanket they placed him in a little viewing room so my husband and I could spend a few minutes with him. I was sobbing, literally sobbing, the whole time and they were just so kind to me. They took the time to talk to me about our loss and it made me feel like we were more than just a customer. They have a clean, welcoming office (another unexpected thing) and they explained the whole process to us and answered our questions. The next morning we picked our little guy up and he was in this sweet little bag with a rainbow bridge poem and wildflower seeds that we can plant in his memory. A Beloved Friends made the difficult process so much easier for my husband and I and I will tell everyone I can about their service.
