Juan gave me an estimate to cut weeds, and trim bushes. Deal was done on a handshake. Next day, or so, he sent one man who worked several hours on two different days. He trimmed the weeds very thoroughly, tand trimmed my bushes to my satisfaction, then, when done, asked if there was anything he'd forgotten. I told him he needed to clear more space in back, per my agreement with Juan and he did so. All the cut grass, weeds, and bushes were bagged and taken away. I'll be hiring him again come late summer, since the heavy water year has produced a bumper crop of weeds and grass. Price was fair enough, in my book.
