Terrible experience. If you think you're moving into a family-friendly company, think again. Recently, I had a family friend pass away and I was placed in the unfortunate situation of having to take on his two pets. My boyfriend and I immediately started looking for a new place since we knew their pet policy. We just thought that being a "family" company we could expect some understanding of our situation. Instead, they threatened to evict us even after putting in our thirty days and never even said sorry for our situation. We paid $100 to have the carpets cleaned since thats what they requested and they still took $200 out of our deposit to "replace the carpets" which they probably would've done regardless because the carpet had burn marks and stains on it. They pick and choose who can have pets, the place wreaks of marijuana and cigarettes even though they claim its a "no smoking" complex. There are crimes constantly in that neighborhood and are so immature they even evicted my brother for my google review that states nothing but facts. Do yourself a favor and avoid this "family" company, they're bad people.

My review is mostly based on the management. To me it's very important to have a good landlord. Karie was nice when I first met her. Even though I did not rent from them I hooked a friend up with her who needed a place. Then a few years later I was kind of in a desperate situation and gave them a call. Best part is that she is willing to work with you with what they can, deposits and stuff like that. She will go out of her way to help, but don't screw her over or you will see a side of her you don't want. But it is what it is. Your good to them you will get along just fine renting here.
