Founded in 1988, the firm works in partnership with management in an attempt to transform its portfolio companies into industry-leading businesses. It has more than $3 billion of committed capital under management and focuses on selected segments of the life sciences, business service and industrial technology sectors. The firm makes control-oriented investments and operates with a variety of deal structures, including minority investments, growth capital and partnering with other private equity firms.
