I went to this salon,, and the day that I started there, a new associate was training with an older associate,... The new associate helped me purchase an unlimited tanning package and when I asked how long you had to sign up for, she stated that you had to sign up for 3 months and then at the end of the 3 months, you had to tell them if you wanted to continue or the policy would expire and be void... I went through my 3 months and the service was fine,, the beds were fine,, the stereo was somewhat problematic,, but it got used a lot, so I didn't really mind... at the 5th month, I got 2 more charges to my credit card and called to inquire as to why???? The owner/manager told me that I had not gone to their website to cancel my subscription as is their policy... I told him that I was unaware of such a policy and would pay the 1 month of nonusage as my own fault,, but could he refund the next month... He refused and told me that it clearly states that on the paperwork (who really reads the tanning contract? its not a mortgage)... and besides his new associate had already answered my question and I had no reason to believe otherwise... I explained the way I was handled on my first visit,, but he was not going to listen... I had no choice but to go to their website and do the paperwork that they wanted... what upset me the most,,, was that this transpired on 2nd of the month,, he could have refunded the money if he chose.. but insisted he could not and it was not there policy.. I STRONGLY do not wish this upon any of their customers in the future... I will never use this salon or refer others....

I have been tanning at Ultimate Tan for over three years now, and will dread the day I ever move from the Bay Area. The staff is always very thoughtful and friendly, and I love that the owner is usually on-site. The salon is one of the cleanest, and well kept salons I have ever been to. The bulbs are always fresh and warm, and I know I get the service I pay for. Also, there is parking right in front at no charge. HUGE!

I have gone to SO many tanning salons and never was satisfied until I found Ultimate Tanning Salon.
