10+ stars. I was elated that I did not have to wait weeks to get my lawnmower fixed. Ray gave me an appointment for the next day and let me know what the fee was up front. No hidden agenda. Ray showed up early and let me know he was outside. Unfortunately due to operator error, my lawnmower could not be repaired. But Ray, being the outstanding person he is, gifted me with a mower so I could mow my grass! Ray is truly a person who cares about his customers. I would recommend Ray and Mobile Mechanix to everyone. A Top-Notch Guy!

Responsive at first. It did take a day for them to get back with me which was acceptable. Gave me a price and told me he was scheduled 8 days out which was still acceptable. Been a week and have not heard back or been scheduled. Would be nice to know if they are going to do the job or not.

Riding Craftsman mower would not start. Tried replacing as much as I could. Finally called Ray during the XMAS season. He came over, just as promised in within 20 minutes, I heard the mower running. Had surgery so I was hiring a Lawn Service (which was adding up). I can now get those leaves and pine needles I've looked at for months. Very reasonable and quick work. Will keep his number on speed dial.. Thanks again Ray!!!

I had Ray come out and do an annual service on my push mower it would only run full throttle ,he found it in less than 10 seconds. it was a gumball stuck in the linkage. I had him do an annual service anyway he took the check and I went to the doctor's office and when I got back he had cut my whole yard which is almost three quarters of an acre the best service I've ever had bar none!!

I have a commercial Toro mower that blew an engine and I replaced it with a Chinese knock off Honda(Pedator). I got everything mounted but I couldn' get it to turn over. After parading it around the city, making stops at places you would think knew what they were doing. Most notably, Land and Coates amoung others not one place would even look at the mower because it wasn't the same kind of motor that came off of it. Brought it back home totally dejected. Then I called Ray. Right off the bat he told me "I can fix anything". He was at my house when he said he would be and my mower was up and running within the hour. So, if you want/need a real mechanic call Ray.

You need to call this guy! I left a message with Ray (owner) and he texted back asking for the model number of my mower. Very responsive and mower was fixed within a half hour!!! Pleasant to work with and great work ethic!!! Thanks Ray!

We had the oil indicator light come on in our lawn tractor. Ray was recommended by a business in Virginia Beach. We live in Portsmouth. Ray gave us a quote, and said he could come out Friday or Saturday. Schedule conflict. He said he could come out on Tuesday or Wednesday. He asked for information about our Big Red Horse lawn tractor. We got the information to him, and then we NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN! We called and I texted him on at least two more occasions. Not even the courtesy of a response. No "I changed my mind about coming to Churchland." We ended up going through Lowe's and the repair company was great. They took care of our lawn tractor, reset the oil light indicator, and we are back in business. We were very disappointed in his lack of professionalism. We had to wait longer, we believed him when he said that he would come out. We can't speak for his knowledge or experience, since we did not experience either.

Ray is awesome to work with. Has great advice for making sure you don't have to call him back again. Responsive and extremely knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable without the hassle of having pickup and delivery to a mower shop. Glad to have him in our area.

Ray was great! He worked us into his schedule quickly - especially considering this is busy season for him! He was patient in allowing my boys to watch and learn. He explained to me what was going on, even had a hand out for me, and offered some money saving tips to keep the mower running longer. I would highly recommend him!

Professional, courteous, funny, a good storyteller and a lawnmower that is in tip top shape. That's pretty good considering i ancient and has not had its oil changed for too long for me to say. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Ray was great! Came over within 2 hours of calling. Very informative on the ins and outs of my mower and gave me some tips when I'm ready to upgrade to a riding mower. I recommend Ray at Mobile Mechanix to anyone who needs their mower or generator repaired. This was much quicker and easier than taking the mower to a shop. He's knows what he's doing, and provides excellent service. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

This is the ONLY company to use for mower service - fast, smart, honest, on time, good price. I called in the late afternoon with a short-notice request and Ray had my lawn mower fixed and running like new (I hadn't used it in more than 2 years) by noon the NEXT DAY. It took Ray less than 30 minutes to do a full service repair. I won't use any other company. I would recommend you don't either.

What a great experience! wish everyone was so honest, dependable & quick at responding. Ray arrived on time and it took him less than 5 min. to determine problem. Would recommend him to anyone. Wish we would have found him sooner to fix various things over the years that we probably ended up throwing away for lack of knowledge. Don't ever retire :)
